THE BISTRO

Oak floor, simple wooden furniture and a couple of sofas by the fire provide the background. We have route maps and local information on the wall, and papers and magazines are supplied. (We also have wireless broadband if you need to check e-mail.)

The food is all home cooked using seasonal and local ingredients where possible. We offer evening meals on Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays, and lazy Sunday breakfasts from 9am. The menu changes monthly - there will normally be a choice from 4 or 5 starters, mains and puddings; main courses priced from around £8 to £13 - see the "Menu" page for our current offering.

We are fully licensed and stock a good selection of local beers, ciders & spirits as well as a good choice of wines.
